Your first website
Start with an idea and a hosting request. HostRyx prepares an isolated WordPress website with a temporary HTTPS address, then activates access after the website checks and service term are confirmed.
Request a website1. Sign in and describe your website
You can explore Demo in the HostRyx header before signing in; it uses clearly labelled sample data. Open your real HostRyx workspace using your BiOs Play account and Discord sign-in. Choose Starter or Business, describe what you want to build, and mention any existing website you want to move.
Leave Start with a temporary address enabled if you do not own a domain yet. There is no need to invent a domain or enter someone else’s. Submitting a request does not collect payment or reserve a hosting slot.
2. Follow the review in Hosting requests
The team reviews capacity, your workload and any migration requirements. Read the latest staff note in Hosting requests. Workspace information refreshes automatically while visible and when you return; Refresh workspace lets you check it immediately. A request marked Approved for setup has passed review; it is not the same as an active website.
Your launch checklist shows request review, WordPress preparation, address and HTTPS verification, backup and recovery tests, and activation separately. Each pending step says who needs to act; an approved request is not an active website. The existing request continues through setup. If the team needs more information, choose Reply to the team to open Support with your request reference instead of submitting duplicate requests.
3. Use your assigned temporary address
After provisioning, My websites and Domains & SSL show an address such as hr0123456789ab.wp.biosplay.fun. The name is generated for the service and HTTPS is managed by HostRyx.
A temporary address lets you start before buying or connecting a domain. You do not need to edit DNS for this assigned address. WordPress Admin becomes available after the service is activated.
4. Check activation and the service term
Before activation, the team confirms that the website belongs to your account, setup has finished, the address is usable, and WordPress, HTTPS, backup and restoration checks have passed.

Hosting requests holds the full launch checklist; My websites holds WordPress and resources, Domains & SSL holds DNS and certificates, and Backups holds recovery controls. A complimentary term has an explicit expiry. Check the date in Plans & access; free setup does not mean permanent hosting. Paid checkout and automatic paid renewals remain closed.
5. Open WordPress and start building
In My websites, choose the website using search or Selected website, then choose WordPress Admin. HostRyx prepares a short-lived, one-use sign-in and opens the WordPress dashboard. Use Visit website to check the public result.
Set your website title, choose a theme, add pages and review the site on mobile. The initial WordPress title may reflect what you entered in the original request; it is separate from the actual website address.
6. Connect a domain when you are ready
You can keep building on the temporary address or connect a domain you own through Domains & SSL. HostRyx supplies the ownership and routing records, verifies the connection and checks HTTPS before switching the website address.
Review forms, navigation, images and any external integrations before sharing your finished website. Domain registration, premium software, business mailboxes and a transactional email provider are separate unless explicitly agreed.
