A CONSIDERED MOVE

Bring your website.
Keep your peace of mind.

Moving hosts should come with a plan. Share your current setup, review the proposed scope, and keep your existing service running until the move has been tested.

Managed setup is available with owner approval. Online purchases remain closed. Send a setup request; capacity, a usable temporary address or verified custom domain, and the service term are checked before activation.

HOW A GOOD MOVE WORKS

Review first.
Switch when ready.

Each migration has different dependencies. The exact process and any extra work will be agreed before access or changes are requested.

01
NO DNS CHANGES

Understand the website

Tell us the domain, current provider, approximate size and whether it uses a store, memberships or other dynamic features. Describe your priorities and any deadlines.

02
YOUR APPROVAL

Agree the scope

We assess compatibility, hosting availability, access needs and the migration window. Any separately priced work is clarified before you proceed.

03
TEST BEFORE SWITCHING

Copy and check

Once the hosting is ready, prepare a copy and verify key pages, forms, images and links. Stores need a plan to protect new orders and database changes.

04
A CONTROLLED LAUNCH

Connect and observe

Change the agreed DNS records, check HTTPS and watch the site after the switch. Keep the old hosting available during the agreed rollback window.

BEFORE WE START

A few details
make a better plan.

Please never include passwords, API tokens, backup files or payment details in your initial request.

Read the migration guide
  • Your domain and current hosting provider
  • Approximate website and database size
  • Paid themes, plugins and licence requirements
  • Email records that must keep working
  • Forms, orders or member activity to protect
  • Your preferred window and launch priorities

BEFORE THE MOVE

Keep the important
things in view.

Do I have to transfer my domain registration?

Usually, changing web hosting and transferring domain registration are separate choices. Keeping your domain at its current registrar can be fine; the relevant DNS records are updated only when the new site is ready.

Will my email move too?

Website hosting and email are separate services. Tell us where your email is hosted so existing MX and authentication records can be preserved. An email migration must be explicitly included in the agreed scope.

Can you guarantee no downtime?

We cannot make that promise before reviewing the website and DNS setup. Testing a preview, planning the final data sync and keeping the old service available reduce the risk and give us a practical rollback option.

Should I cancel my current host now?

Keep it running until the new site is checked and the agreed rollback period has passed. Cancelling too early can remove the source files, email or backup access needed for recovery.

LET’S BUILD SOMETHING THAT LASTS

A fresh start for the site you have.

Tell us what you want to build. We’ll check capacity, agree your access term and help you start on a temporary HTTPS address.
